The iconic and beloved Azure Window was one of the most popular tourist spots in Gozo - until it tragically collapsed due to strong storms and rough waters. But don't worry! Just a short 20-minute bus ride from Victoria will bring you to the village of Dwejra, where you can still find plenty of natural beauty. For just 4 euro, take a boat ride for about 15 minutes and explore the caves before sailing out to the open sea, where you can still catch the glimpse of where the Azure Window once stood.

Crystal Lagoon
The Crystal Lagoon in Malta is a wide, sheltered bay edged by tall, limestone cliffs. Due to a mostly sandy bottom at a depth of around 5-6 meters, the azure water in the Crystal Lagoon is clear and creates a beautiful pallete of turqoise and deep blues. Many consider the bay to be a great snorkel site, and divers also enjoy several reef, cavern, and wreck dives at the perimeter of the lagoon.Additionally, just outside the cove are several small sea caves to explore, as well as a long, 30-meter tunnel which you can swim through.
Caves of Wonder
Year after year, divers flock to this destination, making it essential to arrive early to avoid the crowds. The Santa Maria Caves, consisting of 10 unique caves, each possess their own distinct beauty. Some of the caves boast impressive swim-throughs, while others feature large underwater tunnels. Additionally, certain caves offer captivating views of the blue through their entrance. Notably, the caves are relatively shallow, with some even partially above water, making them an ideal spot for snorkelers. The shallow waters of the Santa Maria Caves are teeming with marine life, including Nudibranch, octopus, crabs, spiny lobster, eels, mullets, shrimp, damselfish and morays.
